Options include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Market Execution<\/em> (immediately executed at the current market price),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Pending Orders<\/em> (executed later when a specified price is reached).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Volume<\/strong>: The trade size (measured in <em>lots<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1.00 lot = 100,000 units of the base currency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stop Loss<\/strong>: A price level where the position will automatically close to prevent further loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Take Profit<\/strong>: A price level where the position will automatically close once the profit target is reached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fill Policy<\/strong>: How the order should be filled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Immediate or Cancel<\/em> \u2192 execute now or cancel,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Fill or Kill<\/em>, etc. (varies by broker).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price display (1.16583 \/ 1.16593)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Bid price<\/em>: price at which you can sell.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Ask price (1.16680)<\/em>: price at which you can buy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The small difference between the 2 values is the <strong>spread<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Buttons<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sell by Market<\/strong> \u2192 instantly sell at bid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Buy by Market<\/strong> \u2192 instantly buy at ask.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pending Order<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"715\" height=\"376\" src=\"https:\/\/7zeros.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-294\" srcset=\"https:\/\/7zeros.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-3.png 715w, https:\/\/7zeros.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-3-300x158.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 715px) 100vw, 715px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It looks similar to the Market Execution window but adds extra fields because an order is being scheduled for later execution instead of entering at the current price. i.e. once price hits a chosen level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Type (Pending Order)<\/strong>: Means the order will only trigger once the market reaches a specific price level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Type (dropdown under Pending Order)<\/strong>: Choose the type of pending order:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Buy Limit<\/strong> \u2192 Buy at a lower price than the current market price (expecting price to rise afterwards).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sell Limit<\/strong> \u2192 Sell at a higher price than the current price (expecting price to drop afterwards).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Buy Stop<\/strong> \u2192 Buy at a higher price than the current price (expecting price to continue rising).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sell Stop<\/strong> \u2192 Sell at a lower price than the current price (expecting price to continue falling).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(Some brokers also offer <strong>Stop Limit orders<\/strong>, where a stop order converts to a limit order at a set level).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price<\/strong>: The exact level at which the pending order should be triggered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stop Limit price (only used if Stop Limit order type is chosen)<\/strong>: Secondary price level where a Stop order becomes a Limit order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Expiration<\/strong>: How long the pending order remains valid:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>GTC (Good Till Cancelled)<\/strong> \u2192 stays until deleted it or it\u2019s triggered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Day<\/strong> \u2192 valid until end of trading day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Specified<\/strong> \u2192 valid until a date\/time is set (see <em>Expiration date<\/em> box).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Place button<\/strong>: Confirms and creates the pending order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Symbol: The instrument being traded.
